چکیده
Background: Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is a minimally invasive surgical technique for amputation of anunhealthy gallbladder. This procedure has several advantages including shorter stay in hospital, minimal postoperativepain and fast recovery after procedure. The disadvantages this due to increase intraabdominalpressure, patient position general anesthesia. Many anesthetist apply VCV procedure.VCV can deliver adequate minute volume but corresponded by an airway pressure, so otheralternative mode be used solve problem like PCV.Aim the Study: To compare effect controlled ventilation versus pressure onrespiratory haemodynamic parameters during laproscopic cholycystectomy.Patients method: A prospective comparative observational study, conducted at Department generalsurgery Baghdad Teaching Hospital/Medical city complex, from October 2019 - 2020. Fifty participantsunderwent laparoscopic within inclusion criteria were included present study. Eachgroup consist 25 patients .one group received others receive PCV. peak mean airwaypressure, MAP, heart rate was recorded intraoperatively 5,10 30 intervals. collected datawere analyzed SSPS version 22 program. Results: In control patients, significantly deceased 10 and30minutes start laparoscopy (20.2and 20.8) (24.3 24.1) respectively pressurewas increased same time (10.6 and10.6) (9.7 9.7) relative volumecontrol group. No significant change hemodynamic parameters. Conclusion: PCV safe alternative &offers protection lungs there no beneficial regarding pressures whichreflect oxygenation, &ETCO2.

Comparison of pressure vs. volume controlled ventilation on oxygenation parameters of obese patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy
Background & Objective There is no special guideline for the best ventilation mode during laparoscopic anesthesia in obese patients and there are too many studies with different controversial points. The aim of this study was to compare the effect of pressure controlled ventilation (PCV) vs. volume controlled ventilation (VCV) on respiratory and oxygenation parameters in patients undergoing lap...
متن کاملVolume-guaranteed Ventilation Versus Pressure-controlled Ventilation in Preterm Infants with Respiratory Distress Syndrome: A Randomized Controlled Trial
Background: This study was targeted toward comparing volume-guaranteed (VG) ventilation with conventional pressure-controlled (PC) ventilation in preterm infants with respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) in terms of the facilitation of weaning and extubation and occurrence of complications, such as pneumothorax, intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH), retinopathy of prematur...
متن کاملEffects of pressure-controlled and volume-controlled ventilation on respiratory mechanics and systemic stress response during laparoscopic cholecystectomy
Pressure-controlled ventilation (PCV) is less frequently employed in general anesthesia. With its high and decelerating inspiratory flow, PCV has faster tidal volume delivery and different gas distribution. The same tidal volume setting, delivered by PCV versus volume-controlled ventilation (VCV), will result in a lower peak airway pressure and reduced risk of barotrauma. We hypothesized that P...
متن کاملIntrapulmonary percussive ventilation superimposed on conventional mechanical ventilation: comparison of volume controlled and pressure controlled modes.
BACKGROUND Previous bench studies suggest that dynamic hyperinflation may occur if intrapulmonary percussive ventilation (IPV) is superimposed on mechanical ventilation in volume controlled continuous mandatory ventilation (VC-CMV) mode. We tested the hypothesis that pressure controlled continuous mandatory ventilation (PC-CMV) can protect against this risk. METHODS An ICU ventilator was conn...
متن کاملComparison of volume-controlled and pressure-controlled ventilation during laparoscopic gastric banding in morbidly obese patients.
BACKGROUND There are no guidelines on ventilation modes in morbidly obese patients. We investigated the effects of volume-controlled (VCV) and pressure-controlled ventilation (PCV) on gas exchange, respiratory mechanics, and cardiovascular responses in laparoscopic gastric banding procedures. METHODS After Institutional Review Board approval, 24 adult consenting patients scheduled for laparos...
